The light on my garage door opener went out so I was looking for an alternative. The motion sensor light socket worked perfectly. Just screwed it into the overhead light socket and now have automatic light when the garage door opens or anyone goes into the garage. Shuts off automatically after about three minutes.

I have these in my garage, they work really good. They only last about 3 yrs. the price is kind of expensive.
