The First Alert 2025F Anti-Theft Safe is perfect for securing your valuables and personal items as well as a great place to safely store prescription medicines. This First Alert anti-theft safe features welded steel construction, dual lock access, pry-resistant concealed hinges, and 2 live door bolts. The safe's electronic keypad lock allows users to program a personal passcode. The digital lock is designed to be used in conjunction with the entry key: the entry key operates the safe's live bolts after the passcode is entered into the digital lock. The entry key can be left in the keyhole using only the digital lock to secure the door, or it can be removed for an extra level of security. Two entry keys included. Also included is an emergency override key which can be used to bypass the digital passcode and open the safe in case of battery failure (4 AA batteries Included). Also included are a floor mat, 4 protective rubber feet and mounting hardware for bolting to a shelf.

Product has a good balance between price and functionality. I wanted an only digital one, but this choice is cheap and effective. Consider where you should install ithide before your purchase

November 10, 2010Great little safe to prevent little curious hands.
For that I paid $35 at Aldis, yes the food chain I have to say it was a great purchase. I use it to secure my three handguns. The safe feels like it has some meat to it not like the cheap ones that simply have a key hole and a metal hook that slides into an opening. I really like how you have to have the knob keys inserted to open it even when your digital code has been entered. The code only allows you to turn the knob key. I leave my knob key in all the time. As the video states, it has an over ride key in case the battery goes out. I have been safe shopping for a while and have seen some really cheap ones for twice the money they are asking even on this website. In case you cant get yours for $35, it is well worth the $55 advertised here.
