I bought my safe a year ago at Costco. I like it and it looks to be quite strong for a relatively cheap safe. However, I locked the bypass key in the safe when I first got it home and I found my pass code failed to work. On youtube I found a hack for opening it. The reset button is easily accessable with a bent hacksaw blade or other thin sturdy metal. Once pressed a new code could be entered and the safe opened using the new code. I have blocked this button on my safe. First alert should move this button.

Ive had this safe for a few years. Occasional issue with the keypad and using the key can cause stress. We recently had a break-in and the thieves almost got into the safe. Twarted only because someone showed up and ran them off. BUT, it did hold up, I really think a few minutes more and they would have been really happy thugs.
